Lac de Passy (alt.550 m)
Imagine swimming in a crystal-clear lake with stunning views of Mont Blanc and the Aravis massif. The water is surprisingly warm (up to 25°C in summer). This lake is a great place to relax and have fun for the whole family. There are plenty of activities to choose from, including boat rentals for kids, mini golf, tree climbing, a fitness trail, and BBQ areas.
Lac de Passy is located in the commune of Passy, in the Haute-Savoie department- ca: 25 minutes by car from Chamonix and is easily accessible by public transportation.

By car:
Parking des Granges (the first parking you will arrive at from the south)
Parking du Karting (at Karting du Mont Blanc Passy)
Parking 03 Lac de Passy (at the beach)
What you should know
The swimming in the lake is supervised in July/August only from 12 p.m. to 16 p.m. every day.
There are 2 parking lots nearly to the lake which cost 3 EUR per day until 18.00, then it is free.
After 23/09 parking is free. The third parking lot is situated at the Karting du Mont Blanc Passy.
If you prefer a sandy beach with many activities and BBQ, so you should park your car on the north side of the lake

Toilets available at the lake. Dogs are not allowed at the beach.
