Moderate* Avoriaz - Pas de Chavanette - Avoriaz

It is a very nice hike in Avoriaz for the beginners and families with the children. This trail is a great option for those looking to avoid the summer crowds. Just follow a wide ski trail. The charming village of Avoriaz remains in view, a constant presence in the distance.

This sight provides a comforting sense of security and orientation, knowing exactly where you are and where you're headed.

Your hike begins in Avoriaz, near the Lac d'Avoriaz. Keep the lake on your right and follow the path that winds its way towards Pas de Chavanette. After about 250 meters, you'll encounter a fork in the path. Take the left turn and continue along the trail.

You'll soon pass a small "lake" on your right. After another 500 meters or so, a right turn will lead you up the final ascent to Pas de Chavanette (2147 m) The climb gets steeper here, but the reward is more than worth the effort.
